Seven new overhead cranes? We don't get that request every day! This month, we were able to deliver a project for van Schie in Mijdrecht with no less than seven (!!!) overhead travelling cranes. The overhead cranes are for van Schie's five new buildings.
In January, it was time again for the annual inspection at various fire stations. Our inspectors inspected the equipment in the fire trucks for the third year in a row. To do this great work, seven of our inspectors went out – spread out over the month of January.
On-site hoisting equipment inspection is an important aspect of safety at sewer engineering companies, among others. Heavy materials and tools that must be lifted and moved in a safe and responsible manner are often used in sewage engineering. The regular inspection of lifting equipment such as lifting belts, chains, cables and lifting eyes is therefore of great importance.
Alga Stairs, a company that specializes in manufacturing stairs, had a specific request for us. They recently needed hoist systems that would help them lift and move large objects. The system needed to be able to move a platform up and down along an object. To accomplish this, Alga stairs needed thirty(!) MVK hoists working together in series of ten with one radio control system. This was a challenging task, but a challenge we gladly accepted!
A satisfied customer is invaluable to any business. Therefore, it is always a highlight when a customer is satisfied with the products and services you have provided as a company. We recently delivered ten radio controllers for overhead cranes to a customer, who was extremely pleased with the result.
While we were quite recently at SARIS Trailers in Hapert for an expansion in the welding shop, we were now allowed to carry out a new project. Due to expansion, there was a need for an additional stacking station at the end of a new production line. For three days our specialized mechanics were present to fully install the crane system so that the line could be put into operation.
We recently installed a new column slewing crane at De Vet Waterbeheer in Mill. After a request for a column jib crane comes to us, the crane system is not delivered overnight. A process precedes this first. Everything contributes to providing the customer with the most efficient and safest lifting solution.
An overhead crane is one of the most indispensable tools in factories, workshops and warehouses. It is used to lift and move heavy loads from one place to another. The crane moves along an installed rail above the work area, allowing it to be used efficiently and effectively in the workplace. An overhead crane is an important tool for productivity and safety in the workplace.
We are always ready to help our customers with their challenges and projects. Like at Lucas Schoot Natuursteen in Oss, where we supplied a special crane to move heavy materials. In this blog we would like to tell more about the challenges we overcame and how we provided a customized solution.
For a company with so much name recognition and high expectations in the region, there is a relaxed atmosphere in the corridors and production halls of VDL Special Vehicles. With the arrival of the corona virus, the travel industry was partially on hiatus and coach production declined somewhat. Yet the company is certainly not standing still, as it has a bright future ahead of it. The situation gives room for new strategic choices and a different interpretation of business processes. During our visit we spoke with Patrick, Maintenance Coordinator at VDL Special Vehicles in Eindhoven. For a good and long-term cooperation, we like to keep the lines of communication short!
As specialists in lifting technology, our customers are in various industries. From companies in the food industry to construction companies, they all have a lifting job at one time or another where Mitari can provide support. We like to show this diversity of our customer base by regularly recording a customer visit. This time we were welcomed with open arms at CurTec, where the production of packaging continues non-stop. After an impressive tour of the production halls, warehouse manager Wil de Kort takes us to the canteen for a good conversation about the cooperation over a cup of coffee.
Last week we had the honor of completing a wonderful project for our customer thyssenkrupp Aerospace in Limburg. We delivered a gantry crane that was the perfect solution for this customer because of its need for flexibility. Whereas overhead cranes and slewing cranes are often tied to a fixed structure, the gantry crane actually offers the possibility to be moved due to its mobile wheels.
Our consultant Jeremy Steenlage knows better than anyone how a client like VDL Bus & Coach can organize processes safely. This was the question Facility Manager Hans Mulder was wrestling with. Setting up a new production line in such a way that employees can safely and easily perform assembly work on the buses. By installing dozens of rolling scaffolds of various sizes, assembly could begin safely!
When inspecting electric lifting magnets, it is important that this is done by an expert who is knowledgeable about the operation of the magnets and the safety requirements involved. After all, it is very important that the magnets are safe and function properly, so that no accidents can happen while lifting heavy loads.
When it comes to working with heavy materials, safe and efficient lifting solutions are essential. At Stone Natural Class, they understand this like no other, which is why they asked us to supply and install four slewing cranes and two overhead cranes. This blog discusses the on-site installation of these crane systems at Stone Natural Class in Eersel.
Testing a lifting equalizer is an important step in ensuring the safety and reliability of this lifting device. By testing the lifting equalizer, the maximum capacity of the lifting equalizer is tested and verified that it meets the specified safety requirements.
Crane systems play a necessary role in modern industrial production processes and are indispensable for companies working with heavy materials such as rebar. Crane systems allow materials to be moved and handled quickly and efficiently, increasing productivity as well as reducing the risk of accidents. In this article, we take a closer look at the crane systems we have supplied to Geurts Betonstaal and the benefits these systems provide to the company.
This is not the first time we have come across the floor at Saris Trailers B.V. in Hapert. Rob and John, both responsible for product development, production and welding, spoke to us with great passion. Rob has been working at Saris for over 23 years and for as long as he knows, Mitari lifting systems have been hanging in the production area. We found a hall in which Mitari is well represented. The completion of a project gave us the opportunity to take a closer look at this cooperation.
Lodewikus Beton B.V. is a well-established company that has been supplying high-quality precast piles for residential, utility and infrastructure construction projects for decades. The company is known for its consistent quality and reliable deliveries. Therefore, it is no surprise that we received the request to supply a gigantic lifting equalizer for lifting the rebar of the bridge girders.
For over three years, our inspectors have been inspecting at thyssenkrupp. To make this run as smoothly as possible, we do it on location. We spoke to Incompany trainer Willem and Maintenance Coordinator Rob. With both their own expertise, they know exactly what is important when using lifting equipment and lifting tools. Willem and Rob are happy to talk about the cooperation between thyssenkrupp and Mitari.
For some time Harry, director of the Flemish company Meco Metal N.V. had been running into the problems of outdated crane systems. The systems were now causing a lot of frustration on the shop floor, so it was time to take action! Harry spoke to a former colleague at Metaal Corporatie Brabant (MCB) about the situation. Because of the logistics solutions we have realized for them over the years, he was referred to Mitari. Thus a pleasant cooperation arose.
If you work in the steel industry, you know that huge amounts of steel plates must be moved daily. Lifting these heavy plates can be a heavy strain on the human body and can lead to fatigue and injury. Fortunately, there is a solution that can significantly ease the work: the electronic vacuum lifter from the renowned brand Vacu-lift.
