Every year, we inspect hundreds of lifting equipment and lifting tools on site at Willems Boven-Leeuwen. We do this with the mobile testing station, because this way we limit the amount of equipment and tools missing and the inspectors can test, maintain and certify the equipment immediately. We spoke to Foreman Technical Services Geertjan about the cooperation and his experiences with Mitari Hijstechniek.

How did the collaboration between Nedal Aluminium and Mitari Hijstechniek come about and what makes it so successful? We asked Joris from Nedal Aluminium, a company specialising in developing, manufacturing and selling aluminium profiles and lighting columns.

For some time now, Mitari and Eurosafe Solutions have maintained a close working relationship. It's June again and that means we are on our way to one of our most loyal customers. Since 2015, we have been visiting this special customer on site every year to inspect their lifting equipment. This customer has not one, but no less than three locations where our expertise is required: a brick factory with a unique waterfront location. In this blog, we take you on our inspection trip to this beautiful location, where we are not only treated to stunning views, but where our main concern is the safety and efficiency of the lifting equipment.

In January, it was time again for the annual inspection at various fire stations. Our inspectors inspected the equipment in the fire trucks for the third year in a row. To do this great work, seven of our inspectors went out – spread out over the month of January.

On-site hoisting equipment inspection is an important aspect of safety at sewer engineering companies, among others. Heavy materials and tools that must be lifted and moved in a safe and responsible manner are often used in sewage engineering. With the arrival of the corona virus, the travel industry was partially on hiatus and coach production declined somewhat. Yet the company is certainly not standing still, as it has a bright future ahead of it. The situation gives room for new strategic choices and a different interpretation of business processes. During our visit we spoke with Patrick, Maintenance Coordinator at VDL Special Vehicles in Eindhoven. For a good and long-term cooperation, we like to keep the lines of communication short!

As specialists in lifting technology, our customers are in various industries. From companies in the food industry to construction companies, they all have a lifting job at one time or another where Mitari can provide support. We like to show this diversity of our customer base by regularly recording a customer visit. This time we were welcomed with open arms at CurTec, where the production of packaging continues non-stop. After an impressive tour of the production halls, warehouse manager Wil de Kort takes us to the canteen for a good conversation about the cooperation over a cup of coffee.

Our consultant Jeremy Steenlage knows better than anyone how a client like VDL Bus & Coach can organize processes safely. This was the question Facility Manager Hans Mulder was wrestling with. Setting up a new production line in such a way that employees can safely and easily perform assembly work on the buses. By installing dozens of rolling scaffolds of various sizes, assembly could begin safely!

When inspecting electric lifting magnets, it is important that this is done by an expert who is knowledgeable about the operation of the magnets and the safety requirements involved. After all, it is very important that the magnets are safe and function properly, so that no accidents can happen while lifting heavy loads.

Testing a lifting equalizer is an important step in ensuring the safety and reliability of this lifting device. By testing the lifting equalizer, the maximum capacity of the lifting equalizer is tested and verified that it meets the specified safety requirements.

For over three years, our inspectors have been inspecting at thyssenkrupp. To make this run as smoothly as possible, we do it on location.
