The design team set to work to find a solution to the customer's needs. The result is the big bag lifting yoke with 8 hooks. This lifting yoke has eight hooks, four at the top and four at the bottom. This allows the lifting yoke to be attached to the big bag at different heights, enabling the lifting of different sizes of big bags without having to change the lifting yoke. This saves time and increases efficiency.

The request from the customer was to supply a custom-made lifting frame suitable for lifting heavy loads. The customer had specific dimensions and requirements for the lifting yoke, so it was not possible to use a standard lifting yoke. We analyzed the customer's request and then provided a quotation with a price quote and a design proposa.

H-frame to your desire

The custom-made lifting yoke we delivered is an equalizer H yoke with a working load limit of 1500 kg. It is designed with an adjustable length of 3000-1800 mm and an adjustable width of 2000-800 mm, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. The lifting yoke also has a central lifting eye measuring 55x155 mm, making it suitable for lifting heavy loads in a safe and efficient manner.

The customized lifting yoke has several advantages for customers. First, it is suitable for lifting heavy loads, enabling the customer to carry out his work more efficiently. In addition, the lifting yoke is adjustable, which means that it is suitable for different applications and can be adapted to the customer's specific requirements. The central lifting eye provides additional safety and reliability when lifting heavy loads.

The proces

The process from initial contact to delivery of the special was very structured and precise. After the client submitted a request via email, we discussed the required dimensions and workload limits. We then prepared a design proposal and provided a quotation with a price quote. After approving the quote, Mitari prepared a detailed drawing for the client's approval. After approval of the drawing, Mitari produced and delivered the custom-made lifting yoke to the customer.

We successfully produced a custom-made lifting yoke that met the customer's specific requirements and needs. This was achieved through a careful and structured process where the customer was closely involved in the design and production of the lifting yoke. The custom-made lifting yoke offers the customer greater flexibility and efficiency in lifting heavy loads while also providing additional safety and reliability. This helps improve productivity and reduce workplace risks. To meet this challenge, we designed and built a custom T-lift elevator. Designed specifically to work in the limited space of the greenhouse, this lifting equalizer provides the capacity to lift and move the heavy lids of the biomass boilers. To ensure safety and stability, we equipped the equalizer with a trolley that can move smoothly on the rails and is equipped with a ratchet hoist that can safely lift and also lower the load.

In addition, we have added short round slings and our own brand harp shackles to the lifting equalizer to ensure that the load can be safely and securely secured. These components are made of high-quality materials that meet international standards for quality and safety.

Minimal lifting height available

One of the main challenges in designing this solution was minimizing the lifting height. Due to the limited space in the greenhouse, we had limited height to work with. To overcome this challenge, we used a custom-made T-frame. This frame was designed to ensure that the lifting height was kept to a minimum, while still providing the necessary capacity and functionality to safely lift the heavy loads.

In delivering this customized lifting solution, we not only ensured a reliable and safe solution for our customer. But we also contributed to the sustainability of the greenhouse and overall efficiency for the customer. By using this solution, KG Greenhouses can now safely and efficiently lift and move the heavy lid of the biomass boilers. Thus minimizing the risk of injury and damage and increasing the company's productivity. 

Extraordinary project

It is always our goal to satisfy our customers with the best products and service. We are proud of every project we have worked on, but there are certain projects that are extra special. This is one of those projects, the hoisting solution was so well liked by the customer that we were able to supply it again.

We have successfully designed and delivered a lifting beam with a length of 5.33 meters. The lifting beam has four docking points, allowing loads to be attached to four lifting eyes. In addition, two sleeves are welded onto the beam for forklift spoons, making the lifting beam more stable during forklift operation. These sleeves have screw protection to prevent the lifting beam from sliding off the forks. To ensure additional safety, we added a shear protection, consisting of a lifting chain attached to the lifting beam that can be attached to the forklift.

Customized lifting equator

The project solved the customer's problem by providing a lifting device that is suitable for use with both a crane and a forklift. The lifting device can be used for lifting various goods, so Aldowa can now benefit from a multifunctional lifting device.

The course of the project was very structured and efficient. We identified the customer's idea and provided a quotation for the product. After the client agreed, we set to work designing and delivering the product.

Information gathering is an important aspect of planning and executing projects. On this project, we started by understanding the client's requirements and expectations. Hercuton already had an overhead crane in the hall, but was looking to expand and add an additional lifting capability. The lifting height had to be between 0-200 cm with an arm length of 600 cm, and the lifting capacity had to be able to lift slabs of up to 150 kg. The height of the jib crane had to be as minimal as possible because of other work in the hall, and the customer wanted to know what floor load the crane system would entail.

Customized column slewing crane

Based on this information, we designed a solution that consisted of a column slewing crane with an electric hoist including push trolley and a vacuum lifter.

Also for this customer, the jib crane was delivered in a specific color, namely RAL7035. The jib crane has a load capacity of 250 kg and is equipped with an I-profile arm that has a length of 6000 mm. The overall height of the column is 2700 mm, while the height under the arm is 2301 mm. The net weight of the column slewing crane is 705 kg. The preservation of the crane is done with a RAL 1007 coating for extra protection against wear and corrosion.

To make operating the crane easy, we supplied it with an electrical power pack and a main switch in the column. This not only makes it safe to use but also easy to operate. In addition, we have also included a base plate and chemical anchors to ensure the stability of the crane.

Vacuum lifter

The electric vacuum lifter allows the customer to lift various boards, including heavy boards such as the "Windstopper Cembrit Extreme." The vacuum lifter can lift these boards as a whole or in cut sections, including OSB, plywood, MDF and underlayment boards. To ensure that the crane system worked safely and efficiently, we used the VacuHandy vacuum lifters. The VH-L100/6H is a powerful vacuum lifter capable of lifting up to 100 kg. This machine is equipped with six suction cups, each 150 mm in size, which ensure even weight distribution and a safe lifting position in the horizontal direction.

The beam length of the VH-L100/6H is 2200 mm, while the cross beam length is 1000 mm. This makes it possible to move and lift large products with ease. The suction cup attachment is spring-loaded and movable, making this vacuum lifter flexible in use and suitable for various types of products.

The vacuum operation is controlled via a manual rotary valve with arrestor, which allows for easy and precise operation of the suction cups. The power supply of the VH-L100/6H is 400 V/3 ph, which ensures that the machine is powerful and reliable. The frame is powder coated and the traverses are galvanized for added durability.

Another advantage of this vacuum lifter is that the suction cups are lockable per nap and there is a coiled cord for the power supply. It also comes with a transport cart for added convenience when moving the vacuum lifter. The VH-L100/6H also features a warning system with battery backup. This system emits a light and sound signal in case of vacuum loss or insufficient vacuum, ensuring the safety of the user at all times.

Collaboration

The course of the project began with the initial contact between Hercuton and Mitari. Based on the client's request, we designed a solution and presented it to the client. After the solution was approved, we took on the project management and started preparing the workshop. Then the crane system was assembled on site by one of our service technicians.

The company ThyssenKrupp Materials is an international supplier of metals and materials for industry and construction. The company offers a wide range of products and services, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and other metals, as well as plastics and other materials.

The lifting beam customized on size

The lifting beam has four docking points on top, with which it can be attached to the hoists of the crane. At the bottom of the lifting H-beam is an attachment point for the slab grabber. As a whole, it looks like the lifting H-beam is used upside down, but in this case it is not.

To operate the whole thing remotely, we also included a control to open and close the plate grab.

It was a challenging project, but the result is great! We delivered a beautiful lifting beam with a WLL (working load limit) of over 10 tons. As a result, the plate grabber can now finally be used in thyssenkrupp's new hall, where stacks of plates are lifted.

Contact with thyssenkrupp Materials

The course of the project was very interesting. After initial contact with Rob from thyssenkrupp, we looked at the situation together and measured the crane with the four hoists. Then we looked at the plate grab and gathered all the necessary information. Based on this, we designed the lifting H-beam internally and presented it to the customer. After some modifications from our side, it was finally approved by the customer and we delivered the lifting beam.

All in all, it was a successful project, and we are happy that we were able to help thyssenkrupp Materials use their plate grab under four lifting cranes. Hopefully we can make more of these beautiful custom-made lifting beams for our customers in the future!

A blue lifting equalizer in keeping with Voet Verhuur's house style

When designing this lifting equaliser, we took Voet Verhuur's specific requirements into account. They wanted a lifting equalizer that perfectly matched their corporate identity. They therefore chose a blue colour (RAL5002) for this lifting equaliser. The result is a striking and recognisable lifting equalizer which seamlessly fits Voet Verhuur's identity.

A lowered lifting point for easy transport

To facilitate transport of the lifting equalizer, a lowered lifting eye was needed. This means that the lifting eye is positioned at a lower level than usual, so that the lifting equalizer can be easily stowed during transport. This modification makes handling the lifting equaliser safer and more efficient, ensuring greater ease of use for Voet Verhuur employees.

Strong specifications for safe lifting applications

This lifting equaliser has an impressive working load of 16,000 kg, making it suitable for various lifting applications. With a length of 2.5 metres, the lifting equaliser offers sufficient reach to lift various loads.

Additional accessories for safe and efficient use

With the lifting equalizer, we also supplied some HMB shackles and a lifting sling four-prong. The choice of a lifting sling four-jump instead of a chain four-jump was made because of the light weight of the lifting sling. In addition, the lifting sling four-jump is ideal when little to no damage to loads is required. By choosing harp nut bolt fasteners instead of harp chest bolt fasteners, we were able to ensure extra safety by providing an additional securing feature.

Specific requirements

The new blue lifting equaliser we delivered to Voet Verhuur at Mitari is an excellent example of our specialities in the field of lifting equipment. We have met our customer's specific requirements with great care and attention. The lifting equalizer is not only visually attractive thanks to the blue colour that perfectly matches Voet Verhuur's corporate identity, but also functional with the lowered lifting points for easy transport. With an impressive working load of 16,000 kg and a length of 2.50 metres, this lifting equalizer is suitable for various lifting applications.

For a customer specialising in thermal and chemical de-lacquering, we were recently allowed to deliver a wonderfully large order of lifting chains. This customer required as many as 210 chain assemblies, and we were delighted to meet their needs.

Chain assemblies

These chain assemblies had an impressive working load limit (WLL) of 4,000 kg. Each chain assembly consists of a masterlink, connecting link, lifting chain, another connecting link and finally another masterlink. This composition ensures a sturdy and reliable lifting solution that meets customer needs.

At our company, all lifting chains are specially custom-made according to the customer's specifications. This means we cut the chains to size and connect the masterlink to the lifting chain by means of a connecting link. The presence of a connection link is necessaryl to attach a masterlink to a lifting chain. All these production processes are carefully carried out in our warehouse, where we prepare the products for delivery.

Grade 100

An important aspect of these lifting chains is the use of grade 100 steel for all components. Grade 100 steel is even stronger than grade 80 steel and is specifically designed for the most demanding applications. For example, the material is ideally suited for lifting heavy and dangerous loads in the offshore industry, thanks to its higher breaking strength. However, it is slightly less corrosion-resistant than grade 80 steel. Nevertheless, grade 100 steel still offers excellent durability and reliability, making it an excellent choice for these lifting chains.

Handling a large order like this requires not only high-quality products, but also an efficient and organised production process. We are proud that we were able to meet our customer's expectations and provide them with high-quality lifting chains suitable for their specialised work in thermal and chemical stripping.

With this order, all lifting chains were certified. The importance of certification cannot be stressed enough, as it shows that the lifting chains meet the required quality and safety standards.

Roof edge protection is a form of protection that minimizes the risk of falling when working at height. This is especially important for access to higher workplaces, even for those without specific training in safe working at height. According to the Working Conditions Act, collective protection measures are recommended when working at height on a regular basis. Temporary Roof Edge Protection: Flexible Solutions

For temporary roof edge protection, we offer flexible solutions that are both safe and practical. Free-standing guardrails are placed on the surface and do not require drilling into the roof. By placing blocks of weight on the beams, stability is ensured. This offers the advantage of easy movability and removability.

The freestanding version of the fencing can be matched to the color and aesthetics of the building. Optionally, it can even come in a folding version, allowing the roof to retain its original appearance when the system is not in use.

The custom adjustable stainless steel lifting yoke we delivered to our client is an impressive piece of engineering that offers a wide range of possibilities. Lifting yokes are designed to provide balance and stability when lifting heavy loads. What makes this lifting yoke special is its adjustability. With a maximum working load of as much as 3500 kg, this model offers unmatched flexibility and versatility.

Application in clean rooms

One of the notable applications of this stainless steel lifting yoke is its use in clean room environments. Cleanrooms are highly sensitive environments where even the smallest contaminants can have a major impact on production processes. The stainless steel lifting yoke that does not cause rust or corrosion is therefore perfect for such environments. It minimizes the risk of contamination while providing the necessary lifting force to move loads safely and efficiently.

Variable workloads for a variety of situations

One of the remarkable features of this adjustable stainless steel lifting yoke is its ability to adjust the working load of 3500 kg. However, when used in extended state, it still offers a safe working load of 2500 kg. This means that this lifting yoke adapts to the specific needs of the task without sacrificing safety or performance.

Lifting aid

Mars Nederland came to us with a request for a wrapping lifting aid for their packing room. The lifting aid needed a working load of about 70 kg and a minimum lifting height of 170 cm. We do not have this product permanently in our range, but we are happy to look at all possible solutions with the customer.

The process

We received the request from Mars Nederland and Lindy started the project. To ensure accuracy, the dimensions and details of the desired product were thoroughly discussed with the customer. With this information, we started looking for the best matching product within Mars Nederland's requirements. With a manufacturer, we found the lift table that fits this situation perfectly. We requested the lift table from this manufacturer. After we presented this solution to Mars Nederland, we quickly got agreement on this lifting aid.

Electric lifting table

The electric lift truck we eventually delivered has an SWL (Safe Working Load) of 80 kg, a lift height of 231 mm with a maximum lift height of 1841 mm and overall height of 2200 mm.

We are proud of our collaboration with Mars Nederland. We successfully delivered an electric lift truck that met their needs, and the cooperation was excellent. This positive experience reinforces our commitment to top performance and building long-term relationships with our customers.

The request

Engels Logistiek has two milling machines on which plastic sheets of 20 to 450 kg are loaded. Previously, this was done using a reach truck, but this became too heavy and irresponsible from a labour perspective. The need increased, so they approached us with this issue.

The process

After receiving Engels Logistiek's request, we contacted them for an on-site appointment. Internally, we discussed the customer's wishes and needs. During the on-site appointment, final details were discussed. A quotation was prepared and converted into an order. Our purchasing department put all the required materials to order. After delivery of these materials, we immediately started the preparatory work in the workshop, saving time on site. The assembly date was set, and assembly was carried out on site. From initial contact to assembly took about four months in total. 

Result

In the end, we delivered a column slewing crane with a height of 4,190 mm and a length of 5,000 metres. This included a 400V electric hoist with a hand-operated trolley. Hanging in the hoist is an electric vacuum lifter.

We are proud of the lifting solution we were able to offer Engels Logistics. This allows the plastic sheets to be efficiently loaded onto the milling machines. This positive experience motivates us to continuously strive for excellence and build lasting relationships with our valued customers.

The beginning

About four years ago, questions arose from Mitari about overhead systems, marking the beginning of their collaboration with Eurosafe. These enquiries led to several projects, where contact ran smoothly and resulted in multiple requests. Both parties provided more and more support, so the cooperation grew. Eventually, several agreements were put in writing, culminating in the signing of an official contract to confirm the cooperation. This contract included provisions, including an arrangement whereby both parties would share a portion of the proceeds when making an offer to a client proposed by the other party. This not only strengthened the business straps, but transformed the relationship from just a supplier to an in-depth collaboration.

"We complement each other perfectly where needed"

The collaboration

On a monthly basis, Mitari and Eurosafe maintain several moments of contact. Sometimes these result in projects, sometimes they lead nowhere, and in other cases a concrete outcome only reveals itself after the passage of a year.

"A great example of our cooperation is a customer we have both been doing business with for many years. We have done several assignments here, but the contact is not always smooth. Jeremy visits several branches of this customer every week, knows all the coffee machines there, knows all the employees and always finds an entry point. This allows us to join forces. That's the beauty of our total package," Jan explains. "We come to a customer for enclosed spaces, he walks around with other things again, and it all falls together. At the same time, we bring Mitari to the attention of our customers, which results in new requests and orders for Mitari

"I think of Mitari first when I have an issue about lifting equipment."

Successful

Communication is smooth, with the ability to make quick calls, emails or appointments to finalise matters. Thanks to regular informal meetings for a bite to eat or a drink outside the door, the cooperation is not only businesslike, but also approachable.

"Jeremy occasionally invites me to events outside work, such as a football match or a bite to eat together. During these moments, we discuss not only work-related matters but also personal topics. This helps to strengthen our straps and build trust, which translates into improved professional cooperation. I know I can count on him, and vice versa, which further strengthens trust. We support each other," Jan says.

Jeremy adds that this year, ten colleagues from sales and eight colleagues from under the hook visited Eurosafe in Zevenbergen on behalf of Mitari. "Not only is the training we received there important, but being physically on site gives us an insight into what Eurosafe does and what they stand for. This gives us a better understanding of what we have to gain from Eurosafe as a partner and where we can support each other."

Future

The prospects for the cooperation between Mitari and Eurosafe look promising. In terms of customer approach and product offering, the right strategy seems to have been found, but we recognise that there is always room for improvement. One of our initiatives to achieve this is to offer Eurosafe's training courses on our website, while Eurosafe will list us as a partner on their own website. This interaction will expand and vary our offerings for customers. In addition, we will further streamline communication by clearly indicating which contact person belongs to which department. This will allow projects to be handled more efficiently and faster.

De Rooy Slijpcentrum | De Rooy Precision

De Rooy is a real family business with currently around 110 employees. Until 2007, the company was located in Eindhoven and specialised exclusively in surface and cylindrical grinding. After moving to Nuenen in 2007, specialisation was expanded to include milling. Currently, De Rooy is unique in the Netherlands because they stand out in terms of the dimensions to be ground or milled. They also stand out for their short delivery times, made possible by their flexibility.

Every year, De Rooy undergoes considerable innovation, not only in terms of its machinery, but also by investing in employees who operate the machines. New employees at "De Rooy" are paired with an experienced colleague and trained internally.

With the increasing acceptance of larger workpieces, the world of lifting also comes into play. After all, it is essential that workpieces can be moved safely and efficiently, to and from the grinding or milling machine.

Erik shares his vision for Mitari:

"Mitari is a growing company, similar to "De Rooy". Moreover, it stands out that Mitari is particularly flexible and can change gear quickly. Cooperation

Cooperation between the two parties has existed for quite some time. During this long period, the relationship has evolved from simple purchases, such as lifting slings in the beginning, to larger and more complex projects, including inspection work. Today, the cooperation is much more project-based, with everything being inspected periodically and a constant exchange of questions and solution.

For example, when large blocks need to be milled, this requires not only craftsmanship but also a detailed lifting plan. In this context, Mitari comes around the corner, involving them specifically in the preparation of these lifting plans.

In terms of cooperation, Jeremy is the permanent contact at Mitari, who can be called in quickly and efficiently to provide solutions to the problems identified. Communication is generally smooth, there is still more to be gained by implementing actions immediately.

Advice

Safety is paramount at De Rooy, especially given the significant risks involved in lifting and hoisting in a business environment such as theirs. Therefore, every De Rooy employee goes through a specific course on safe lifting and hoisting. Mitari also plays an important role in this.

"Whenever we are faced with a lifting challenge, advice is regularly sought from Mitari. For Mitari, this is daily business. Sharing insights and sparring with experts allows us to address safety issues more effectively," Erik says.

The beginning  

The cooperation between Nedal Aluminium and Mitari Hijstechniek began with a modest order for a number of lifting slings. Soon, this cooperation grew into a solid business relationship.

"We can always come to each other for advice, support or a friendly chat," Joris says.

There is a strong strap between the two sides, partly thanks to the low-threshold cooperation. Both sides grant each other business and share a deep trust.

Contact

The lift tables in question were used for the assembly of hoppers, into which feed is dumped and then distributed around the barn. The observed problem with one of the lifting tables, which was slowly sinking down, not only caused disruptions in the assembly process, but also created unsafe working situations.

Process

To solve this problem, we sent a colleague to site to thoroughly inspect the lift table, working with one of our partners. After careful analysis, it was jointly decided to supply new lift tables. Not only did the reported complaint play a role in this, but the age of the existing lift tables also warranted renewal.

Delivery

Together with our partner, we eventually delivered two high-quality lift tables that met the customer's specific requirements. These new lift tables have now been taken into use and are functioning excellently. This not only improved the efficiency of the assembly process, but also ensured overall safety on the shop floor. We are delighted to have been able to contribute to a trouble-free and optimised operating environment for our valued customer.

Challenging issue for a H-lifting beam

In a demanding industrial environment, a question arose from our customer. They wanted and request for an adjustable 3000 x 2000 mm H-lifting beam, designed for overhead crane use with 4 attachment points and CE approval.
