Work safely
Working at heights naturally involves risks. Whether it concerns work at low or high heights, we are happy to make it as safe as possible! Step one to working safely is to use safe materials. The industrial step ladders that you will find in our range consist of very sturdy constructions that form a connection between surfaces on two levels. In this way, people can easily and safely carry out work at desired heights. All stepladders comply with the NEN-EN 131 and the NEN 2484 standard. When you purchase climbing equipment that meets these standards, you can demonstrate during an unexpected inspection that safe equipment is used.
Range
For every job, we have a suitable safe step ladder for sale. All stepladders in the range are made of aluminum material, which means that their own weight is light, but the stepladders are very strong. Folding in and out is a breeze with all step ladders. This together makes the step ladders versatile. Do you want even more flexibility? In that case, a double stepladder might be a good option. On both sides, the double access stepladder has steps, so that work can be done at heights from various points. With a single access stepladder, the steps are located on one side. This makes the stepladder lighter in its own weight. For added safety, we also offer stepladders with a support bracket. A person can hold on to this, which ensures more stability during work. The steps are completely custom-made, so you can determine how many steps the steps should have. If the desired number is not available, you can always contact our customer service.
Mammoet and Bison
Within the Mitari range, we have step ladders in the Mammoet or Bison model. The main difference is that the stepladders of the Mammoet model are double-popped. This means that extra nails have been driven into the side of the steps, which provides extra strength. The Bison models are single-popped, yet this model stepladder also has several advantages! The Bison step ladders, for example, have a dirt-resistant coating and extra grip due to the wide anti-slip step ladder feet. Always choose the model of steps that best suits the work and work environment in which it will be used.
Stepladder inspection
To guarantee the safety of the steps, we recommend having at least an annual inspection carried out by an expert inspector. The expert inspector checks the material and/or whether there are no deformations or wear. The stepladder is checked in its entirety in accordance with NEN 2484 requirements. When the steps are unsafe, this will be indicated with a rejection sticker. Then the steps must be taken out of use.
