In addition, there is more freedom of movement with a forklift truck than with a crane. Loading and unloading is done quickly and efficiently with this adjustable forklift jib.

The HTA jib is an extendable hook attachment that fits on the forks of a forklift truck. The lifting beam is adjustable. Please note that the safe working load changes the further the lifting beam is extended. The hook can be moved onto different attachment points.

Loads can be lifted safely by suspending the loads from the crane arm of the forklift truck, rather than balancing the loads on top of the forks.

The jib is slid over the forks of a forklift. The lifting beam has two securing options, both of which must be used for securing the jib. It can be tightened by tightening the locking screws, which are attached to the bottom. In addition, there is a safety chain. The locking chain must be secured so that the attachment cannot slide off the lift truck. The locking chain is a chain attached to the attachment with a connecting link. At the other end of the chain, there is a shortening hook. The chain must be wrapped tightly to the forklift truck, the shortening hook must be attached to the chain for extra security. When fitted, there is an additional safety feature to prevent the forklift attachment from sliding off the forklift forks.

The forklift jib is supplied including a shackle and a swivel latch hook. The shackle is a bow shackle with a safety bolt, which ensures that the swivel latch hook is properly secured. The attachment can be used immediately, and the swivel hook latch makes it easy to pick up a load.
